15-Position, 3-Row Power Triple Lock Receptacle Housing
It is the female side of a wire-to-wire or wire-to-panel power interconnect system, designed to accept tab-style crimp terminals and mate with the corresponding plug header. The housing is organized in 3 rows with a 0.236" (6.00mm) pitch between positions and 0.319" (8.10mm) row spacing, giving it a wide, rectangular cavity layout suited for distributing power across multiple circuits in a single connector. This is a panel-mount, snap-in housing — it pushes into a rectangular cutout in a sheet metal panel or enclosure wall and locks without additional hardware. The red colour and polyamide (nylon) insulation material are standard for the series. The wide span also means the housing retains its mechanical properties through thermal cycling in unheated storage or cold-climate installations.
It accepts tab-style crimp terminals designed for the Power Triple Lock series. The exact terminal part numbers depend on the wire gauge required for the application; typical choices are the 1971875-series tab contacts for 14-18 AWG or 12-16 AWG power circuits. A secondary lock or TPA (terminal position assurance) may be available for the series to confirm full terminal seating.
Mounting and Panel Cutout
The housing mounts to a panel using the snap-in latch holder feature. No screws, clips, or brackets are required — the housing is pressed into a rectangular cutout until the integral latches snap over the panel edge.
