The 6274291-2: The nickel-plated zinc body and gold-plated beryllium copper center contact support 500 mating cycles — enough for test-equipment or field-service reconnections. Rated to 4 GHz and 500 V, it fits signal paths in broadcast video, telecom, or instrumentation where 75 Ohm impedance is standard.

The 4 GHz ceiling covers most composite video, SDI, and baseband telecom signals, but not higher-frequency RF. The 500 mating cycles come from the gold-plated center contact — sufficient for periodic reconnections, not for daily hot-swap duty. The through-hole solder termination requires the PCB to have plated through-holes matching the center pin and shield legs.
