5-Position SL-156 Receptacle Housing for In-Line Harness Assembly
At 0.156" (3.96mm) pitch, it fits the standard SL-156 footprint used across appliance, automotive, and industrial control panels where a compact, field-serviceable interconnect is needed. The natural polyamide (nylon) housing carries the contacts in a polarized cavity — the keying prevents mismating with the matching SL-156 header.
Housing Only — Select the Crimp Contact Separately
The 640251-5 accepts standard SL-156 crimp female socket contacts (TE part numbers 640250 series). The crimp termination allows the harness builder to attach the contacts to 18-22 AWG wire before inserting them into the housing cavity. Once seated, the integral locking ramp retains each contact with an audible click, and the natural nylon body provides the polarization key for header alignment.
