3-Position Unshrouded Header for MTA-156 Wire-to-Board
The 640384-3 is a 3-position, single-row, unshrouded header from the TE MTA-156 series, designed for board-to-cable/wire applications. It uses a 0.156" (3.96mm) pitch and through-hole solder termination, with tin-plated contacts on both the mating and post sides. Rated at 600VAC and an operating temperature range of -55°C to 105°C, this header suits general-purpose and industrial environments.
This unshrouded header mates with standard MTA-156 crimp-socket receptacles (such as the 640441 series) for a wire-to-board connection. The 0.400" (10.16mm) mating pin length provides adequate engagement depth for the receptacle contacts. Through-hole mounting with 0.125" (3.18mm) post length allows soldering into a PCB. The overall contact length of 0.650" (16.51mm) includes both the mating pin and the solder tail.
