The 640385-2: The 3.96 mm pitch sets the board footprint and the per-contact current ceiling — at the rated current the temperature rise stays within the UL94 V-0 thermoplastic housing limit.
The square male pin measures 0.390" (9.91 mm) mating length, providing good wipe on the receptacle contact. The solder post is 0.125" (3.18 mm) long, standard for through-hole soldering on typical 1.6 mm PCBs.
This header mates with MTA-156 receptacle housings and IDC connectors.
