What this 5-position unshrouded header does
Its unshrouded profile means the pins are exposed after soldering — fine when the mating receptacle sits close and the assembly stays inside a housing, but not for free-hanging cables that could get snagged. Pitch is 0.100" (2.54mm), the standard spacing for this series, so the footprint lines up with any MTA-100 IDC or crimp receptacle. The 0.295" (7.49mm) mating pin length gives enough wipe for a reliable connection with the matching socket.
RoHS3 compliant.
Mating and termination check
Mates with MTA-100 IDC or crimp-socket receptacles (e.g., 640441 series). The unshrouded header has no keying — orientation is up to the assembler, so double-check the polarization of the mating housing. Termination is through-hole solder. The 0.140" (3.56mm) post length fits standard 1.6mm PCBs.
