Compared to the CT series 1-292164-1 (11 positions, 0.079" pitch, right-angle, 4-wall shrouding), the 640454-7 offers a wider 0.100" pitch and vertical mounting but fewer positions and only 1-wall shrouding — a simpler fit for straight board-to-wire routing. Against the 1394090-1 (6 positions, 0.112" pitch, right-angle, latch holder), the 640454-7 has one more position and a standard 2.54 mm pitch, but lacks the latch holder — the 1-wall shroud relies on the mating housing's own retention.
