Right-angle header for a two-wire board exit
The single-wall shroud guides the mating receptacle on one side; the open side means polarization relies on the housing key, not full enclosure.
Mating half and build-to-print BOM
This header mates with MTA-100 series IDC receptacles or discrete-wire housings. Build-to-print needs both halves: the 640455-2 provides the board-side pins; the mating half (e.g., a 2-position receptacle with crimp terminals) is ordered separately. The 0.295" (7.49mm) mating pin length engages standard MTA-100 contacts. Termination is solder — the 0.140" (3.56mm) post length fits a standard through-hole PCB. No press-fit or SMT option here; the through-hole joint provides mechanical strength for the right-angle cable exit.
