Right-angle 8-position power header at 6.35 mm pitch
The 6.35 mm (0.250 inch) pitch sets the board footprint and the per-contact current ceiling — at 12 A the temperature rise stays within the nylon housing's limit. The 600 VAC rating covers most industrial control and appliance power rails. The mounting flange provides an additional mechanical anchor to the board — useful when the cable assembly exerts leverage on the header during service.

For higher cycle counts, the gold-plated variants in the Universal MATE-N-LOK family are the better choice. The 12 A current rating is per contact at 25 °C ambient. Derate the current at elevated temperatures per the product drawing — at 105 °C the allowable current drops to roughly 60 % of the 25 °C value.
Mates with Universal MATE-N-LOK receptacle housings
The 6.35 mm pitch is consistent across the series, so any 8-position Universal MATE-N-LOK receptacle with the same contact arrangement will mate. The connector is branded TE Connectivity AMP Connectors, not Molex. It is not compatible with Molex Universal MATE-N-LOK products — the two families are different designs and do not intermate.
