The 641970-3: The 6.35 mm pitch sets a generous board footprint — wide enough to route higher-current traces between pads without necking down.
This through-hole header accepts the matching Universal MATE-N-LOK receptacle housing and crimp terminals. The solder posts are 0.155" (3.94 mm) long, tin-plated, and suited for wave-solder assembly on standard 1.6 mm PCBs. The 0.250" (6.35 mm) row spacing matches the pitch, so the three rows occupy a compact 12.7 mm × 13.97 mm board footprint — the insulation height is 0.550" (13.97 mm) above the board surface.
