The 643407-1 is a 6-position, single-row vertical header from the Universal MATE-N-LOK series, built for board-to-cable power connections. Its 6.35 mm pitch gives each contact room to carry 12 A at 600 VAC without crowding the board trace fan-out. The four-wall shroud with a locking ramp and board guide means the mating receptacle clicks in and stays aligned through wave solder — no cocked headers or intermittent mates from cable tug. Tin-plated phosphor bronze contacts handle moderate mating cycles (typical for appliance and industrial control panels) without the cost of gold. The natural nylon housing carries a UL94 V-2 flame rating and operates from -40 to 105 °C, covering most indoor and sheltered outdoor cabinets.
