Board-to-Wire Header for MTA-100 Harnesses
The 643431-1: With 4 positions but only 3 loaded, this header may be used for keying or polarity alignment — verify the mating receptacle's pinout before committing the BOM line. The friction lock provides vibration-resistant retention during mating, typical for wire-to-board interconnects in general-purpose equipment where the cable sees occasional flex.
Sizing the PCB Footprint and Mating Half
Mates with standard MTA-100 crimp-socket receptacles (e.g., 640441 series) that accept 22-26 AWG wire. The single-wall shrouding provides basic pin protection during handling; it does not fully enclose the contacts, so the header should be positioned away from board edges where side-loading could damage pins.
RoHS3 compliant.
