6-Position IDC Receptacle for Discrete or Ribbon Cable
The TE Connectivity MTA-100 643813-6 is a 6-position single-row IDC receptacle designed for mass-termination of 22 AWG discrete or ribbon cable. Tin-lead contacts with 80.0 µ" (2.03 µm) plating handle moderate mating cycles — the heavy plating is more about corrosion resistance than cycle count.
Mates with any standard MTA-100 0.100" pitch header that has the matching locking ramp feature. The 22 AWG wire gauge is fixed; the IDC slot is sized for that diameter, so don't substitute a different gauge without testing the pierce quality.
