2-position MTA-156 header for board-to-wire harnesses
The 0.156" (3.96mm) pitch sets the board footprint and the per-contact current ceiling — current rating varies by wire gauge, but the tin-plated contacts handle typical signal and low-power loads up to 600VAC. The friction lock mates with the corresponding MTA-156 receptacle housing, providing a positive hold against vibration in industrial control panels and general-purpose equipment.
The 644752-2 mates with any MTA-156 receptacle housing that accepts a 0.156" pitch male pin header — typically the 640250 series or 640251 series from TE. Mounting is through-hole with solder termination; the 0.175" (4.45mm) post length suits standard 1.6mm PCBs.
