Friction lock — keeps the mating housing seated
The fastening type is a friction lock: a molded ramp on the header that snaps into a matching window on the TE Economy Power receptacle housing. It's not a secondary latch or TPA — it's the primary retention mechanism. When you push the receptacle on, you should hear it click. If it backs out under cable strain, the connection is scrap. This lock is rated for the same temperature range as the housing (-25°C to 105°C,) and the PA66 material carries UL94 V-0 — so it holds up in a 105°C cabinet without sagging or losing its snap.
