50-position right-angle header with 0.100" pitch and four-wall shroud
The 7-103166-3: The right-angle orientation routes the cable parallel to the board — useful for board-edge applications where the connector sits flush against the enclosure wall. The four-wall shroud protects the pins during handling and guides the mating receptacle into alignment, reducing the chance of bent pins in blind-mate or high-density backplane setups.
Through-hole right-angle mounting with detent lock
The header mounts through-hole with a right-angle solder tail (0.135" post length). Insulation height is 0.400" (10.16 mm) — this sets the z-height clearance needed above the board for the mating receptacle and cable exit.
