Single-Wire Receptacle Housing for AMPMODU Mod IV
This housing ships empty. The housing accepts both male pin and female socket contacts, which gives you flexibility in defining the gender of the wire end. Standard AMPMODU crimp tooling (hand or automatic) applies; the crimp termination is field-serviceable without solder.
Single-Position Design — One Wire, One Circuit
At 1 position, this is a single-wire housing. It is not a multi-circuit connector — each 7-87499-2 handles one conductor. For a harness with multiple circuits, you would use one housing per wire, or step up to a multi-position AMPMODU Mod IV housing. The single-row, free-hanging format keeps the assembly simple: each wire terminates independently, and the housing provides strain relief and polarity keying through the Mod IV interface.
