Front-Section Plug for Harness Builds
The TE 770037-1 is a 6-position, 3-row front-section plug from the Universal MATE-N-LOK II series, designed for free-hanging (in-line) wire harness applications.
The housing accepts both genders, so the same part number works for either side of the connection. Standard crimp tooling for the series applies; the terminal pull-force and wire range are determined by the specific contact chosen.
3-Row Layout — Confirm the Mating Half
With 6 positions spread across 3 rows, this plug uses a 2+2+2 arrangement rather than a single row of 6. That makes the row spacing (0.250") the critical dimension for the mating receptacle — a standard 1-row Universal MATE-N-LOK II header won't align. Verify the mating receptacle also has a 3-row configuration and the same 0.250" row pitch before committing the BOM line. The 6-position count matches a 6-circuit harness; the 3-row layout is the distinguishing feature that prevents a mis-match with the more common 1- or 2-row housings in the same series.
