The TE Connectivity 770042-1 is the rear section of a two-piece Universal MATE-N-LOK II plug housing, 12 positions laid out in three rows at a 0.250" (6.35mm) row spacing. The white PA nylon body carries a latch lock that clicks into the matching plug front section or receptacle housing, giving a positive retention that holds up in moderate-vibration harness assemblies. This is the rear half only; the front section (sold separately) completes the plug. Typical use is wire-to-wire or wire-to-panel power and signal interconnects inside industrial control cabinets, automotive body harnesses, and appliance wiring where the Universal MATE-N-LOK II family is specified.
