It's a 3-row, 0.198" (5.03 mm) pitch panel-mount housing with a snap-in retention feature — no separate mounting hardware needed, it clips into a panel cutout and stays put. This is a wire-to-wire or wire-to-panel interconnect family, not a board-mount header — the contacts are crimped onto wires and inserted into the housing.
The series accepts the standard Commercial.093" pin and socket contacts, which are crimped onto 14-20 AWG wire. If you're filling a BOM line, make sure the terminal part numbers are on the same purchase order, or you'll have a housing with nothing to put in it.
Mounting and Mating — What to Expect on the Bench
Snap-in panel mount means you cut a rectangular hole in the panel, push the housing through until the retention barbs click, and it's captive. No screws, no nuts. The 3-row, 9-position layout is a 3x3 grid at 0.198" (5.03 mm) centerline in both directions — the row spacing is the same as the pitch, so the contact pattern is square. For field service, depress the ramp with a small screwdriver to release. The natural nylon color makes visual inspection of contact seating easy through the housing back.
