Mounting is panel-mount and through-hole, right-angle. The board guide aligns the header during soldering, preventing skew that could misalign the mating housing. Tin is suitable for moderate mating cycles (50-100) in non-corrosive environments — if the application cycles the connector quarterly, expect several years of service before contact fretting becomes a concern.
What mates with the 776266-5
This header is the male pin half of an AMPSEAL wire-to-board connection. It mates with a corresponding AMPSEAL receptacle housing (not included) that accepts crimp terminals for 20-24 AWG wire.
