The TE Connectivity 8-2232265-2 is a 2-position plug housing from the Power Triple Lock series with Glow Wire compliance. It's a free-hanging (in-line) female blade socket housing that accepts crimp terminals — the contacts are not included and must be ordered separately. The 6.00 mm pitch gives enough spacing between circuits for power-level wiring without crowding the harness. Sizing the Harness: Contacts and Mating Half
Because the contacts are not included, you'll need to source the matching female blade socket terminals separately — typically TE's Power Triple Lock crimp terminals for the wire gauge your circuit requires. The housing accepts those terminals after crimping, and the latch lock holds the plug to the mating header. The mating half is a Power Triple Lock header (male pin) with the same 6.00 mm pitch and 2 positions. The orange housing colour is consistent across the series, making visual identification of the circuit count straightforward on a crowded harness.
