MCX Jack, 50 Ohm, Through-Hole — 829558-2
The snap-on fastening gives positive retention while allowing quick disconnect — the 500-cycle mating rating backs that for test ports or field-replaceable modules. Insertion loss is spec'd at 0.1 dB, and the voltage rating is 335 V. The shield terminates with solder to the board ground plane; the centre contact also solders through-hole.
No form-fit-function replacement from TE Connectivity.
This is a jack (female socket) that mates with any standard MCX plug having a snap-on coupling interface and 50 Ohm impedance — the snap-on latch engages with a positive click and releases with a straight pull. The PTFE dielectric maintains a consistent 50 Ohm characteristic through the launch. For a field-service swap, the 500-cycle rating means the jack can tolerate repeated remating without contact degradation.
