Top-contact FFC, 1.25 mm pitch, right-angle through-hole
The 84533-6 is a 6-position FFC connector from TE Connectivity AMP Connectors, accepting 0.30 mm thick flat flex cable with top-contact mating. It mounts through-hole, right-angle, with kinked pin termination and tin-plated phosphor bronze contacts rated 1 A at 50 V.
Contact side and cable fit
Top-contact orientation means the FPC's exposed pads face upward when the cable is inserted — a flipped flex shorts the wrong row, so match the cable's conductor side to the contact side before insertion. The 0.30 mm FFC thickness matches the actuator clearance; cables outside this thickness may not seat fully or may damage the contact beam.
