The unshrouded design gives direct access to the square pins for probing or manual wiring, but offers no polarization or mechanical protection against mis-mating — ensure the mating half is correctly aligned before insertion.
Mates with AMPMODU Mod II female socket housings (e.g., 5-104506-3 series) that accept 0.025" square posts. Termination is through-hole solder; no special tooling is required beyond a standard soldering iron or wave-solder process. The 0.125" (3.18 mm) post length accommodates typical PCB thicknesses up to 1/16".
