The 87230-6: In a lab instrument or test fixture cycled a few hundred times over its life, the gold layer prevents contact fretting and keeps resistance stable. The post finish is gold flash, adequate for solder joint reliability.
This is common for board-to-board stacking where the mating receptacle provides the alignment.
Any AMPMODU Mod II receptacle or 0.100" pitch IDC socket that accepts a 0.025" square post. The unshrouded header mates with a shrouded or unshrouded receptacle; the push-pull retention means the mating half should provide the locking if needed.
