What This Housing Does in a Harness
The housing accepts AMPMODU Mod IV crimp sockets (typically 0.100" pitch contacts, 22-26 AWG range, depending on the specific terminal). The black polyamide housing has a primary latch that locks the terminal in place once crimped and inserted; the free-hanging design lets the housing float in the harness without a panel cutout. For field repair or harness assembly, you crimp the socket onto the wire, insert it into the cavity until it clicks, and the housing retains it without a secondary lock.
