The TE 87631-3 is an 8-position, dual-row receptacle housing from the AMPMODU Mod IV series. It accepts female socket crimp contacts (sold separately) and terminates to discrete wires in a free-hanging, in-line configuration.
The 8 positions are arranged in 2 rows. The critical note on the line is that contacts are not included. Without them, the housing is just an empty shell. Compared to the 6-position 87631-2 and the 10-position 87631-6, the 87631-3 is a middle-ground option — same pitch, same row spacing, same detent lock, same black housing.
