What this 80-position header fits
With all 80 positions loaded, the board footprint is 40 pins per row across 2.0" of board edge. The unshrouded design gives access to the pin tips for probing or manual wiring, but leaves the contacts exposed — not for high-vibration environments without a secondary lock.
Contact finish and current capacity
Rated 3A per contact at the listed operating range (-65°C to 105°C). That 3A is a per-circuit limit for signal-level loads; in a dense 80-position build, the total current through the header is thermally limited by the sum of all active circuits and the board copper. The UL94 V-0 thermoplastic housing handles the temperature rise without flame propagation.
