The 9-146252-0-08: The unshrouded, push-pull design mates with standard 0.025" square-post receptacles. The breakaway construction means the pin strip can be snapped to a shorter length if the full 16 positions are not needed. Gold on the mating face keeps contact resistance stable through repeated insertions — 15 µinch is the entry-level gold thickness for moderate duty cycles in controlled environments.
Through-Hole Solder Termination and Board Fit
The through-hole termination uses square pins with a 0.125" (3.18 mm) post length and tin finish (100 µinch). The insulation height of 0.090" (2.29 mm) keeps the header low above the board surface. Housing is black liquid crystal polymer (LCP) rated UL94 V-0.
