The 9-146257-0-02: The 4-position, dual-row layout occupies the same board area as a single-row 4-pin header but gives you a second row for signal routing or a ground plane tie.
Contact Interface and Current Duty
Rated 3 A per contact. For a signal-level interconnect — sensor inputs, low-power I/O, control lines — the 3 A ceiling is generous; the practical limit is more often the trace width on the board.
Push-pull fastening — no latch, no screw. The mating receptacle (typically an AMPMODU Mod II socket or an IDC connector) relies on the pin-to-socket interference fit for retention. In a low-vibration environment like a control cabinet or a bench-top fixture, the friction hold is sufficient. Through-hole solder termination: the 0.025" square pins fit standard 0.040" plated-through holes.
RoHS compliance is assumed for current production; confirm at order if restricted-material certification is required.
