The breakaway construction means the strip can be snapped to fewer positions, but this order code ships with all 30 positions loaded. Rated 3 A per contact with tin-plated mating surfaces at 100 µinch thickness. Tin at this thickness handles around 50 mating cycles — fine for a one-time board assembly or a single harness connection, but not for repeated field disconnect. The push-pull fastening means there is no latch — the connector stays mated by friction alone, so it is best suited for low-vibration applications or where the cable is strain-relieved separately.
Board Fit and Routing Notes
Through-hole termination with a 0.090" post length — the solder tail protrudes 2.29 mm below the board surface. The unshrouded design leaves the pins exposed, so board-edge clearance and accidental shorting against a metal enclosure need attention during layout.
