Board-to-Board or Cable Header with 32 Positions
In a 32-position header fully populated, the total current per row is limited by the PCB trace width and the connector's own temperature rise — expect to derate if ambient exceeds 85°C or if all circuits carry near-rated current simultaneously. The 0.100" pitch gives you a standard 2.54mm grid for routing one trace between pads on a single-layer board. For higher-density designs, the unshrouded profile (insulation height 0.090") keeps the z-height low, but the mating pins are exposed — ensure the mating receptacle has a polarisation feature to prevent misalignment. Tin plating at 100.0µin thickness is adequate for up to 50 mating cycles in non-corrosive atmospheres.
