25-Pin Unshrouded Breakaway — Board Layout Fit
The 9-146278-0-25: This is a 25-position single-row unshrouded header from TE's AMPMODU Mod II series. Unshrouded means the male pins are fully exposed; there is no plastic wall around them for polarisation or keying. The push-pull fastening means the mating receptacle is held by friction only — no locking latch. The 25-position count is less common than 20 or 30 — confirm your BOM calls for exactly 25 circuits before committing the board layout.
3 A Per Contact — Tin Plating Limits Mating Cycles
In a board-to-board or cable-to-board application that is assembled once and rarely serviced, this plating grade is appropriate.
The 0.100-inch pitch and 0.230-inch (5.84 mm) mating pin length are standard for Mod II receptacles with 0.025-inch square sockets. No secondary lock or TPA is present on the header side — terminal retention is handled by the receptacle's own locking features.
