40-position breakaway header for board-to-board and cable interconnects
The 9-146284-0: The square pins are gold-plated on the mating surface (15 µinch) with tin on the solder tails, a common split-finish that keeps corrosion resistance at the contact interface and solderability at the board.
As an unshrouded header, it mates with standard AMPMODU Mod II receptacles and IDC sockets that accept the 0.025" square pin. The through-hole solder termination (0.090" post length) fits a standard 0.100" grid PCB — no special footprint. The push-pull fastening means the mating connector is held by friction only, so in a high-vibration environment a secondary retention method (locking ramp or wire-tie) is worth planning for.
