A built-in strain relief is integrated into the housing, which takes the cable pull load off the individual contact retention latches in a high-vibration harness.

The housing ships empty — you must order the matching MCON female crimp terminals separately. The terminals are inserted into the cavities after crimping onto the wire. This is standard for MCON housings; the terminal part number is not the same as the housing.
