What this 2-position header does in the harness
The 9-176975-1 is a Board to Cable/Wire header from TE's Universal Power series, built for wire-to-board power distribution where you need a positive lock. The shrouded 4-wall design polarizes the mating face and protects the rectangular tab contacts from damage during blind assembly.
This header mates with a Universal Power receptacle housing that accepts tab contacts. The through-hole termination uses kinked pins for retention during soldering — the 0.142" (3.60mm) post length suits standard PCB thickness.
