Board-mount half of the Signal Double Lock wire-to-board system
The 917728-1: This is the through-hole header that stays on the PCB and mates with the Signal Double Lock receptacle housing and crimp terminals. 8 circuits in a single row, 2.50 mm pitch — the footprint is tight enough for dense signal routing but wide enough to keep the per-contact current at 3 A without exceeding the temperature rise limit of the PA66 housing. Tin-on-tin contact finish keeps cost down — expect a few hundred mating cycles, not thousands. Rated for general-purpose use in equipment that stays inside an enclosure — the UL94 V-0 housing meets the flame-rating requirement for that environment.
Pitch, positions, and the footprint it demands
2.50 mm pitch and 8 positions set the board footprint. The kinked solder tails are 3.20 mm long — the hole pattern and solder fillet follow the standard through-hole footprint for this series. Mated stack height is 19.2 mm — the z-height from the PCB top to the top of the mated receptacle housing.
