3-position 2.50 mm pitch header for wire-to-board signal runs
The 917895-1 is a 3-position, single-row header from TE's Signal Double Lock series, designed for board-to-cable/wire interconnect. The 2.50 mm pitch sets the PCB footprint and determines the mating receptacle — the matching Signal Double Lock crimp housing uses the same pitch and latch geometry. For a 3-circuit signal run, the total power budget is 9 A shared across the three positions — well within the 3 A per-contact ceiling for a 30 °C temperature rise in the PA66 housing.
Board-fit dimensions and stacking height
Through-hole termination with kinked pins — the kink provides retention during wave soldering before the solder solidifies. Mated stacking height is 13.7 mm, measured from the PCB surface to the top of the mated receptacle housing. The 0.386" (9.80 mm) insulation height of the header alone leaves clearance for the receptacle's wire exit. The 4-wall shrouding protects the male pins from bending during handling and guides the receptacle into alignment on mating. A board guide feature on the housing further aids alignment during automated assembly.
