Where This Housing Fits in a Harness Assembly
This is a wire-to-board or wire-to-wire receptacle housing. In a typical harness, it receives the matching AMPMODU Mod IV pin header (soldered to a PCB) and holds the crimped female socket terminals. The free-hanging mount means no board footprint is needed on the cable side — the housing clips into the harness and the terminals are crimped onto discrete wires.
