The housing is molded in green glass-filled nylon 6/6 (PA66) and operates from -65°C to 105°C, suiting it for industrial control cabinets, automotive interior harnesses, and general-purpose wire-to-board interconnects where a reliable, field-repairable crimp connection is required.
The 8-position count in a 2-row arrangement (4 positions per row) gives a compact footprint on the wire harness.
Crimp Termination — Contacts Sold Separately
This housing accepts standard AMPMODU Mod IV female socket crimp contacts (TE part number 1-87175-0 or equivalent). The crimp termination allows field assembly with common tooling — no soldering required. The free-hanging design means the housing is not board-mounted; it terminates a wire harness that then mates with a PCB header. The glass-filled nylon housing provides the mechanical retention and polarization for the contact array.
