Through-Board Terminal for 13.5-17 AWG Wire
The TE Connectivity 925553-2 is a wire-to-board terminal designed for permanent solder-in mounting through a PCB. It accepts 13.5-17 AWG wire — the insulation diameter range of 0.098" to 0.150" (2.50 mm to 3.81 mm) covers typical automotive-grade and industrial cable jackets. The tin-plated brass contact gives a corrosion-resistant, solderable surface suited for moderate-temperature environments where high mating-cycle counts are not required.
PCB Hole Fit and Termination
The 0.106" (2.69 mm) hole diameter specifies the finished PCB drill size for this terminal. It is a through-board terminal — the wire is crimped to the terminal, then the terminal body is inserted into the plated-through hole and soldered. This differs from a crimp-and-poke terminal that locks into a housing without soldering.
