Three-Circuit Receptacle Housing for Standard Timer Series Harnesses
The TE Connectivity 928344-3 is a 3-position receptacle housing from the Standard Timer series, designed for free-hanging (in-line) wire-to-wire or wire-to-device connections. It accepts female socket crimp terminals — the contacts are ordered separately.
Pitch, Position Count, and Mating Half
The 5.00 mm pitch and single-row 3-position layout are the primary fit parameters. This housing mates with the corresponding Standard Timer plug header (same pitch and row count) — the friction lock engages with the mating half's ramp. Compared to the 6-position dual-row sibling 1-2069882-6 (6 positions, 0.200" pitch, 2 rows), the 928344-3 serves a narrower circuit count in a single row, which simplifies wire routing for a 3-circuit harness.
Termination and Contact Ordering Note
Termination is crimp-style: the user selects the appropriate female socket terminal (e.g. TE Standard Timer contact series), crimps it to the wire, and inserts it into the housing cavity until the retention lance locks. The housing does not include contacts — the BOM must list the terminal part number and the crimp tool separately. The friction lock provides secondary retention once mated.
