The 11 GHz maximum frequency is the practical ceiling for this connector; above that, the N Type interface geometry starts to support higher-order modes that degrade VSWR. For a clean 50 Ohm path up to 11 GHz, the solder cup termination must be executed with consistent center-conductor standoff and minimal solder voiding.
