The steel shell provides full shielding, and the contacts carry gold GXT™ plating — a hard gold alloy that holds up to the rated 10000 mating cycles without significant wear. Rated 0.5 A per contact at 40 V, with an operating range of -20°C to 85°C and a UL94 V-0 rated housing.

HDMI 1.4 vs 2.0 — What the Spec Means
