Board-to-Board Stacking Fit and Contact Reliability
The receptacle accepts bottom or top entry, meaning the same part can sit on the bottom board of a mezzanine stack or on the top board with the header coming from below — a single SKU covers both orientations.
Surface-Mount Assembly and Packaging
The connector is terminated by solder reflow — the SMT pads are on a 0.100" grid, and the pick-and-place feature (a flat vacuum-pick area on top of the insulator) allows standard nozzle handling without a custom nest.
Application Range and Compliance
The gold-plated mating contacts and tin-plated posts (78.7 µinch tin on the solder tails) balance corrosion resistance at the interface with solderability at the board — the tin tail wets well with standard SAC305 solder. RoHS compliance is confirmed, so it fits lead-free assembly lines without exemption paperwork.
