The F31L-1A7H1-11009: This is an Amphenol ICC (FCI) Aorora F31L FFC/FPC connector — 9 positions on a 0.50 mm pitch, terminated by solder to the board through a surface-mount right-angle footprint. It accepts a 0.33 mm thick FPC with a notched cable end, and the contacts are on the bottom side of the connector — the cable pads face down against the contact beam. That flash is enough for 30 mating cycles, which is typical for a connector that gets mated once in production and maybe again during field service. It is not built for repeated disconnect-reconnect duty; the gold is there to keep contact resistance low over the life of the assembly, not to survive hundreds of cycles.
The 0.50 mm pitch drives the board footprint — each pad is narrow, and the routing between pads is tight. That low profile suits space-constrained enclosures where the FPC folds back over the connector. The narrow pitch and thin contact beam limit the current-carrying capacity; if your circuit draws more than 0.5 A per line, you need a wider-pitch connector.
For a volume requirement, the reel packaging is the economical choice; for prototypes or small builds, the cut-tape option avoids buying a full reel.
