IP67 sealed USB-A receptacle for panel-mount applications
The MUSBRA111R5 is the 4-contact USB-A receptacle in Amphenol ICC's MUSBR series, rated USB 2.0 and sealed to IP67 when mated with the corresponding plug. The flange, horizontal mounting and right-angle through-hole solder termination secure the connector to the panel and board in a single assembly step.
Sealing and mounting
IP67 dust-tight and waterproof rating covers the mated interface — the panel gasket and cover (included) seal the connector against washdown and outdoor exposure. The steel and stainless steel shield provides EMC protection; the UL94 V-0 rated housing meets flammability requirements for equipment inside an enclosure.
Durability and signal
Rated 1500 mating cycles with gold-plated contacts — the gold finish supports repeated field connections in corrosive or high-humidity environments. USB 2.0 specification covers data rates up to 480 Mbps; the 1.5 A per-contact current rating suits power delivery within the USB 2.0 envelope.
