Amphenol BERGSTIK II 6869 — Dual-Row Receptacle for High-Density Board Stacking

The Amphenol BERGSTIK II 6869 series is a dual-row, 2.54mm pitch receptacle connector with over 320 variants, designed to mate with standard dual-row 0.64mm square pin headers. The dual-row layout doubles the contact density compared to single-row receptacles, making the 6869 series essential for high-pin-count board-to-board stacking in embedded systems, industrial controllers, and computing platforms.

Board Stacking Configurations

By combining header post length and receptacle height, specific board-to-board spacing is achieved. A 15.24mm post header mated with a 8.5mm receptacle produces approximately 10mm board spacing — common for mezzanine cards in industrial embedded systems.
