The 08FLZ-SM2-TB is an 8-position, 0.020" (0.50mm) pitch FFC/FPC connector from JST's FLZ series, terminated by solder to a surface-mount right-angle footprint. It accepts 0.30mm-thick flat flex cable and uses a slide-lock ZIF actuator — no insertion force on the cable, just a slide to clamp the contacts.

Tin contacts and slide lock for field-fit reliability

Housing is gray polyamide (PA6T) rated UL94 V-0, with a black actuator of the same material. The cable end type is tapered, which eases insertion into the ZIF slot.
